Kozma Ahačič

ZRC SAZU

Kozma Ahačič is the head of the Fran Ramovš Institute of the Slovenian Language ZRC SAZU and a researcher in the department of the History of Slovenian Language. His research work mainly focusses on the history of linguistics and language use. He is the editor of the dictionary Portal Fran, a lexicographer participating in the creation of the dictionary of sixteenth century Slovenian literary language, and editor of the journal Slovenski jezik [Slovene Linguistic Studies]. He is also the author of several modern school grammar text books, a columnist, and music lover.
