Nerea Sebastián

The Jožef Stefan Institute

Dr. Nerea Sebastián is a research associate at the "Jožef Stefan" Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She obtained her doctorate in 2012 from the University of the Basque Country in Spain. She held a Humbold Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg and then came to Ljubljana in 2016 as a Marie-Skłodowska Curie Scholar. Her research activity is focused on soft matter physics, including mesophases behaviour, the properties of novel liquid crystals, and the development of ferromagnetic nematic liquid crystals.
