Jadranka Šepić

Jadranka Šepić is an associate professor at the Faculty of Science of the University of Split where she teaches environmental physics classes. Most of her research has been focused on meteorological tsunamis. She wrote her doctoral thesis on the subject, has published more than twenty articles, and led three closely integrated international projects, including the ERC Starting Grant project SHExtreme. In addition, Šepić's research deals with sea level variability, including climate induced trends, decadal and interannual variability, storm surges, tsunamis, and wind waves. She is also actively involved in educational activities, mostly through the "Oceanographers on the Island" project.
